Abstract：Professor Chen chuankang is a kind of all-round geographer who is well worth studying. no matter what significance is form. This paper analyses and systematizes his way, characteristics and methods of geographical study form various angles, and draws the outline general charcteristic of his academic study that has been opening up a special integrated, thus providing middle and young geogeraphers with many scholarship experiences such as the methods of "F" structure, case example resarch, "three steps" investigation, "Two-way" causation, quality and quantity, and policy study.
